Dr. Nagarajan Ramamoorthy received his Ph.D., in Business and Management from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park.  He has served on the faculty of the University of Maryland at College Park, Maryland, University of Maryland - University College, Maryland, Howard University, Washington, D.C., and Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia..  Currently, he is serving as a tenured Associate Professor of Management at the University of Houston-Victoria. His specialization is in the human resource management with a secondary interest in business policies and strategic management.  He has taught courses in Human Resource Management, Compensation, Employee Benefits, Organizational Staffing, Organizational Behavior, Business Policies, and International Business at both the undergraduate and graduate level.  Prior to becoming an academician, he has served as human resource managers for several multi-nationals in India.  He has published in leading journals such as Human Relations, the International Journal of Human Resource Management, British Journal of Management, Creativity and Innovation Management, among others.  He has authored several papers that have been published in the proceedings of several international conferences such as British Academy of Management Conference, International Congress of Applied Psychology, Society for the Advancement of Management International Management Conference, Irish Academy of Management Annual Conference, National Business & Economic Society Conference, & Academy of Management Conference.  He has also served as chair and discussants in numerous conferences.
